2017 Nissan Armada: The Classy Woodsman
September 14 2016,
Still just as rugged and manly as the previous generation, this newly revamped and redesigned 2017 Nissan Armada now sports a new look and new lease on life. The Armada’s not only been given an exterior overhaul, but the interior’s been revamped, as well. Overall, this SUV has been given a whole new look and feel, and you’re going to want to give this one a closer look.
All-New Style, Brand-New Capabilities
The previous generation of Nissan Armada’s platform was based on the Nissan Titan pickup, however, this latest version borrows heavily from the Infiniti QX80. This immediately lends itself to a more upscale and refined vehicle, overall. From the exterior look to when you sit behind the newly designed wheel, the shift is almost immediately noticeable.
And, as it turns out, the 2017 Nissan Armada shares more than just a platform with the Infiniti QX80. From the outside, the two are nearly identical. But don’t worry, the 2017 Armada sports the Japanese automaker’s signature Nissan family chrome-lined front grille. This makes the Armada instantly recognizable and slots it nicely into Nissan’s lineup.
For 2017, a much smoother and sleeker version of the Armada replaces the previously boxy exterior look. This new Armada also comes with LED headlights, along with newly designed 20” wheels that elevate the previously uber-rugged SUV’s looks even more.
The 2017 Armada Brings Nissan to a Whole New Level of Sophistication
Inside, the all-new 2017 Nissan Armada sports its family ties to the QX80 with pride. There’s a generous use of wood inserts and brushed chrome that really bring about an air of sophistication and class in a cabin that was previously not at all what one would consider luxurious.
There’s room for up to 8 in the 2017 Nissan Armada, along with an incredible amount of interior cargo space for all your goods and gear.
The 2017 Nissan Armada is equipped with a 5.6L V8 engine that produces 390 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. The Armada has a towing capacity of 8,500lbs that means your weekend adventures are sure to happen, no matter what they may be. This particular Nissan SUV also comes equipped with an all-mode 4WD system that automatically switches to 4WD when the system detects slippage. It will then switch back to 2WD for optimal fuel efficiency.
Features like Backup Collision Prevention, Intelligent Cruise Control, front and rear parking sonar, Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, and Blind Spot Warning and Blind Spot Intervention make the 2017 Nissan Armada the safest generation to date.
