Nissan unveils four new models this month including 2017 Sentra Nismo
November 30 2016,
It’s not often that a given automaker unveils four new models in the same month. Then again, not a lot of manufacturers do things like Nissan. Taking full advantage of the Los Angeles Auto Show that got underway during the second week of November, Nissan unveiled the all-new 2017 Nissan Sentra Nismo along with a special edition Star Wars Nissan Rogue. But the Japanese automaker didn’t stop there. They also unveiled a special edition Nissan Juke along with a refreshed 2017 Nissan Versa Note.
Let’s have a look at each new Nissan model.
2017 Nissan Sentra Nismo
Like the other three Nismo models in the Nissan lineup (GT-R, Juke and 370Z), the 2017 Nissan Sentra Nismo stands out with its aggressive body kit, red accents everywhere and 18-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot tires. Inside, the 2017 Sentra Nismo gets an Alcantara finish for the steering wheel, more side bolstering thanks to beautiful sports seats, and a host of other subtle additions.
The 2017 Nissan Sentra Nismo will be powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. The engine can be paired to a quick-shifting six-speed manual transmission, or a sport-tuned continuously variable automatic transmission.
2017 Nissan Versa Note
The 2017 Nissan Versa Note keeps its 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing 109 horsepower, but Nissan’s subcompact offering adds three new exterior colors, a revised V-shaped grill, and new comfort and connectivity features. The Versa Note’s wheels have also been redesigned. Inside, versatility is still the name of the game for Nissan’s affordable urban vehicle.
Nissan Juke Black Pearl
The Nissan Juke Black Pearl gets a new, deep black paint job complemented with white accents. The Juke Black Pearl is for those buyers who want to stand out in the crowd.
Nissan Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition
The absolute star of the show, the Nissan Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition is based on the new 2017 Nissan Rogue and features black or white exterior colors (to represent the fighting factions in the Star Wars trilogy), Galactic Empire and Rebel Alliance logos all over, a grey interior and - this is the best part - a real Death Trooper helmet that comes with each of the 400 Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition models that will be coming to Canada.
